Aja Holland is a program manager at Shift Work Forward, where she manages and advances career navigation initiatives that promote equitable workforce outcomes. She brings more than a decade of experience supporting programs that connect underrepresented communities to education and career opportunities that support long-term economic mobility.
At Shift Work Forward, Aja focuses on transforming career navigation and training systems across postsecondary education and workforce pathways. She leads the design and management of cross-sector partnerships that address systemic barriers and drive coordinated policy and practice changes that center workers and learners.
Prior to joining Shift Work Forward, Aja served as Community Impact Manager at United Way of the National Capital Area, where she led a funding competition in partnership with Arlington County’s Racial Equity initiative to advance race-conscious policy and budget decision-making.
