Andrea Glispie is a Senior Manager of Community Development at Charles Schwab Bank where she helps to ensure the bank fulfills its obligations under the Community Reinvestment Act. In this role, she facilitates philanthropic contributions from the bank to nonprofit organizations and creates skilled volunteer opportunities so that Charles Schwab colleagues can leverage their expertise in support of community organizations. Prior to this, Andrea served as the site director of the Dallas workforce funding collaborative Pathways to Work. The collaborative invested in career pathways for adult workers and industry partners in the healthcare and information technology sectors, advanced workforce equity, and piloted job quality strategies. She has over 20 years of professional experience, especially in the areas of organizing, advocacy, grantmaking, and community engagement. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University – St. Louis. She resides in Plano, Texas and is the proud (and often tired) mom of a nine year old boy and is an obnoxious Peloton enthusiast.
