April Harrington has been leading workforce development nonprofits and collaborative initiatives in Chicago for over a decade. She is an independent consultant, offering strategic planning, project management, and fundraising support. She has also served as the Managing Director of the Chicagoland Healthcare Workforce Collaborative since 2020. Under her leadership, the Collaborative has developed grant-funded training programs, conducted research, hosted youth-focused events, and created a peer learning space around share healthcare workforce challenges. April is deeply committed to advancing workforce equity, developing worker-centered solutions, and helping individuals find joy and fulfillment in their careers.
