As a deputy director for Ascendium Education Philanthropy, Carolynn works to Expand Opportunity for learners from low-income backgrounds. Carolynn previously worked for Kohler Foundation, Inc., where she managed grantmaking, scholarships, and arts programming. Carolynn also served as program director for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, leading place-based grantmaking, programs, and community development efforts.
