Kristie is a first-generation college graduate dedicated to increasing economic mobility for residents. She currently manages a portfolio of adult job training, business development, and scholarship programs at ComEd. These programs – which are intentionally crafted in coalition – have prepared over 1,000 job seekers for quality infrastructure careers, won several awards, and been adopted as national best practice. Prior to working at ComEd, she funded and scaled vocational and bridge programs at The Fry Foundation and developed educational programs at the University of Chicago. Her work is rooted in her experiences working in Human Resources at the Hilton Chicago and nonprofit operations at Cara Collective.
