Melissa Kleder is a senior program manager at Shift Work Forward, where she works with industry leaders and workforce partners to make jobs better. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and a deep commitment to advancing social and racial justice through workforce and workplace change.

Melissa co-designs and implements initiatives focused on job quality improvement, facilitates peer learning experiences, and provides technical assistance and coaching to employers and partners. Her work centers on activating employers, applying human-centered design principles, and supporting sector-based strategies that improve job quality and worker well-being.
