Nita KC is the Operations Specialist at Shift Work Forward, where she supports day‑to‑day operations and helps ensure organizational systems run smoothly and consistently. Her work plays an essential role in helping staff stay focused on advancing the organization’s mission.

Nita provides operational and administrative support across teams, strengthening internal coordination and ensuring colleagues have the systems and processes they need to succeed. She contributes to operational efficiency by supporting workflows that keep the organization functioning effectively as its work and impact grow.

Prior to joining Shift Work Forward, Nita spent nearly a decade with the DC Department of Health’s Community Health Administration, where she supported initiatives focused on expanding access to healthy food, improving community health outcomes, and increasing health literacy.
