Shrinidhi Rao is Director of Workforce Innovation at the Burning Glass Institute, where he leads initiatives to expand economic mobility and opportunity for all. He manages the Institute’s thought leadership and research around a broad portfolio of topics, from skills-based hiring to the impacts of generative artificial intelligence on the workforce. He has also spearheaded flagship initiatives including the Where You Work Matters initiative—a corporate scorecard assessing worker mobility at large U.S. employers—and the Institute’s Place-Based efforts in New York City. His work has been featured in major media outlets, informing national discussions on the future of work. Prior to joining the Institute, Shrinidhi spent time at the Boston Consulting Group and he holds an MBA from the Wharton School as well as a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
