Job quality is often discussed in theory, but making it real requires intentional design and a willingness to meet workers where they are—especially during times of political uncertainty and shifting public programs. As changes in federal policy, benefits, and healthcare systems add stress and complexity for employees, workplaces have an opportunity to become points of stability and access. This session explores how Rhino Foods has embedded equity-centered supports into the workplace, including a full-time Employee Support Coordinator and certification as a Recovery Friendly Workplace. Participants will gain practical, scalable ideas for reducing barriers, strengthening dignity, and supporting workers through change.
