Step inside the Social Enterprise Center (SEC) to see how a community-driven partnership is expanding opportunity through workforce development, entrepreneurship, and economic development. During this site visit, you’ll tour the 17,000-square-foot campus, meet the partners behind its creation, and explore how the SEC brings together living-wage employment, business incubation, on-site childcare, and community spaces to support workers and families. More than a building, the SEC demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration can create lasting economic opportunity in historically underinvested communities. You’ll leave with practical insights into how local leaders aligned resources, designed for community needs, and built an ecosystem that strengthens workforce outcomes while supporting broader community prosperity.

Important: Attendance is limited to 30 participants. Advance registration opens in early September and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Transportation will be provided to and from the on-site visit. For this Sojourn, the tour requires closed-toe shoes.
