The initial impacts of AI are visible – but through a rapid rewiring of the skills required inside existing roles. Core tasks are being reconfigured, the value of expertise is shifting, and career trajectories are being reshaped in real time. In this presentation, we survey the Institute’s latest research on AI and the future of work, mapping where change is happening fastest and who is most affected.
