This session explores how Native Workforce Partners came together to better align workforce and education programs serving Native communities across New Mexico. Participants will learn how partners coordinated employment and training efforts across Tribal lands and urban centers, leveraging Department of Labor funding to support a shared approach. The session will highlight policy priorities from the National Congress of American Indians Workforce Development Toolkit and how they translate into practice. For employers, this offers insight into how to better engage Native talent and design partnerships that reflect community priorities. For system leaders, it provides a model for aligning funding, policy, and partnerships in ways that support Tribal sovereignty and strengthen long-term workforce outcomes.
